This is a digital painting done entirely by hand, using one of my favorite photos of Peter Gabriel as a guide. It took about 7 hours to complete, and I'm quite glad with how it came out.
The picture is one of Gabriel in his 'Watcher of the Skies' makeup, and was taken anywhere from early 1973 to mid 1974. The painting was done on my Wacom tablet and entirely in Photoshop. |
